According to the Zhejiang media "Keqiao Release", on the morning of May 31, 2023, the second batch of major investment project signing ceremonies were held in Keqiao District, Shaoxing City.

Changfei Advanced Wuhan SiC IDM Project Launched

At the meeting, Changfei also announced the official launch of its second manufacturing base located in "Wuhan · China Optics Valley". It is reported that the project has an annual production capacity of 360000 SiC MOSFET wafers, including epitaxy, device design, wafer manufacturing, packaging, etc. It is expected to be completed by 2025 and will become the largest SiC power semiconductor manufacturing base in China.

On May 6th, a delegation of 12 from Hefei visited Xinke Semiconductor, and both sides are actively promoting the implementation of the "annual production line project of 100 million silicon carbide MOSFET power chips". Xinke Semiconductor is an IDM company specializing in the research and development, design, and sales of SiC epitaxial wafers, power chips, and device products.
